Exhibition Display Cases in Dubai: Showcase Your Product Safely

Every exhibitor with a product worth stealing, touching or dusting eventually needs the same thing: a clear case that shows everything and allows nothing. Here is how exhibition display cases are specified in Dubai and what each format costs.

The three case formats

A counter-top case, a five-sided clear cover on a base, runs AED 150 to 600 by size and thickness. A pedestal case, cube on a plinth at viewing height, runs AED 600 to 1,800. A full tower vitrine with shelves runs AED 1,500 to 4,000. All three come clear, or with frosted or printed panels where you want to control the view.

Locks, lifts and access

Decide how staff reach the product: a lift-off cover is cheapest but slowest, a hinged door with cam lock is the working standard, and sliding doors suit shelved vitrines. For high-value items, bond the case to its base and the base to the counter, a case that cannot be carried is rarely tested.

Lighting inside the case

Hall lighting comes from everywhere and flatters nothing. LED strips inside the case top or base, AED 150 to 400 added, put controlled light exactly on the product. Warm light for gold, jewellery and cosmetics; cool light for tech and medical. Battery packs avoid trailing cables across a rented floor.

Thickness and optical quality

5mm reads acceptable, 8 to 10mm reads premium, and diamond-polished edges are what make a case look like glass rather than plastic. Specify cast acrylic: cheap extruded sheet shows a slight haze in thick sections that hall lighting exposes mercilessly. This is the difference buyers cannot name but always notice.

The verdict

Match the format to the product's value: counter cases for samples, locked pedestals for heroes, lit vitrines for collections, and always cast acrylic with polished edges.
